Hello everyone,
We are happy to announce the availability of OpenTURNS 1.21 RC1 with:
- The Smolyak nested experiment dedicated to quadrature:
Design of experiments — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation
/plot_smolyak_quadrature.html - The Cross-Entropy Importance Sampling simulation algorithms for reliability:
Cross Entropy Importance Sampling — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation - New efficient chaos base classes for integration & least squares (full) usage:
LeastSquaresExpansion — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation - Uniform distribution over a mesh:
UniformOverMesh — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation - new Generalized Extreme Value distribution estimation services:
Estimate a GEV on the Fremantle sea levels data — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation - BoxCoxFactory now gives access to the underlying linear model:
BoxCoxFactory — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation
… and of course the continued documentation and bugfixes effort.
The feedback is welcome before the 1.21 final due for mid-June.
Beware that some of these new classes are part of the newish openturns.experimental submodule until deemed stable enough to be moved to the core module.
conda, and otconda binaries are available as usual:
no pip binaries are available at this point, but the nightly build would give an almost equivalent behavior
