Hello everyone,

We are happy to announce the availability of OpenTURNS 1.22 RC1 with the following prominent features:

- The new [BoundaryMesher](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/user_manual/_generated/openturns.experimental.BoundaryMesher.html#openturns.experimental.BoundaryMesher) for boundary volumes (in order to draw samples around domain frontiers)

- The [LatentVariableModel](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/user_manual/_generated/openturns.experimental.LatentVariableModel.html#openturns.experimental.LatentVariableModel) covariance model for discrete variables:

- The [StudentCopula](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/user_manual/_generated/openturns.experimental.StudentCopula.html#openturns.experimental.StudentCopula), (or T-Copula), and its estimation service [StudentCopulaFactory](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/user_manual/_generated/openturns.experimental.StudentCopulaFactory.html#openturns.experimental.StudentCopulaFactory):

- The new [TruncatedOverMesh](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/user_manual/_generated/openturns.experimental.TruncatedOverMesh.html) to truncate a distribution over a Mesh

It also includes much overall work, see the full changelog [here](https://github.com/openturns/openturns/blob/1.22/ChangeLog)

The documentation is accessible [here](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.22/index.html)

Note that it must be can only be installed from [Pypi](https://pypi.org/project/openturns/1.22rc1/) as release candidates versions wont be published on conda anymore.

As usual your feedback is valuable to improve the quality of the final 1.22 release.

The OT team
