> Hello everyone, We are happy to announce the availability of OpenTURNS 1.21 RC1 with: The Smolyak nested experiment dedicated to quadrature: [Design of experiments — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.21/auto_reliability_sensitivity/design_of_experiments) /plot\_smolyak\_quadrature.html The Cross-Entropy Importance Sampling simulation algorithms for reliability: [Cross Entropy Importance Sampling — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1 documentation](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.21/auto_reliability_sensitivity/reliability/plot_crossentropy.html) New efficient chaos base classes for integration & least squares (full) usage: [LeastSquaresExpansion — OpenTURNS 1.21rc1…](http://openturns.github.io/openturns/1.21/user_manual/response_surface/_generated/openturns.experimental.LeastSquaresExpansion.html)

Thank you for the feedback during this long RC phase which saw some GEV improvements and additional bugfixes, see the definitive list of changes here:

For this release we also have Linux packages (.deb, .rpm) for:

- Debian 11/12
- Ubuntu 20/22
- Fedora 37/38
- CentOS 8
- OpenSUSE 15.4
- Mageia 8

See you soon!
